My motorcycle is all fixed up, I passed the skills test, and my bike is now registered. I rode it for the first time outside a parking lot yesterday and off base today. It was pouring and windy, so I got soaked! But I'm still so happy to finally have my bike and that I can ride it whenever I want. It's lots more fun than a car. But I'll be careful, I promise. :) I bought some rain pants (already have a coat) that should arrive next week, which will make riding in the rain more comfortable. Pictures to come...IF I can talk Corey into taking some for me.
Last weekend, we took our dog to a doggy pool party. We have never seen our puppy swim before so we just tossed him in. He can swim, but doesn't seem to enjoy it. Lol. The entire time we were at the pool, he either clung to me, which left me covered in scratches, or swam to the edge of the pool to try to escape. Corey didn't join us in the pool and watched us from the sidelines. Sokka also got to socialize with the other dogs and owners there. I'm glad to get him out of the house a bit.
