Fever was a lot darker than Wither. Both are beautifully written and almost poetic. However, Fever brings all of Rhine's nightmares to reality. There was just this constant fear for her and dread as I was reading her story after the escape. Then at the end, I couldn't stop crying. The last few words of the book give us hope for her future and I can hardly wait for the third book in the Chemical Garden Trilogy! Also, the covers so far have been amazing.
